Winter Activities & Snow Play in Flagstaff

Skiing & Snowboarding

arizona snowbowl

Arizona Snowbowl is the center of Flagstaff's winter sports. It may not be a big resort, but it does provide a lot of vertical terrain and a ton of enjoyment for Arizona locals. Lift tickets are actually quite affordable if you purchase a season pass in advance or even a day lift ticket in advance. The prices tend to increase as you get closer to the date you'd like to ski or ride the resort, weekends, and holidays, so buy early if you have the chance. Arizona Snowbowl offers everything from true beginner to a few expert runs. But even the more advanced skiers and snowboarders can enjoy tree runs and amazing backcountry terrain with the proper experience, knowledge, skills, tools, and gear.
